Dinner in the Wild is SOLD OUT!
Thank you to all our supporters. We'll see you at the site!
Dinner in the Wild is one of the MNS’s primary means of raising critical annual support for our mission of inspiring minds through nature and science. The funds from this event will support our pre-kindergarten through 12th grade onsite and outreach programs. Funding from Dinner in the Wild also helps support our scholarship program, which ensures that all school children, regardless of ability to pay, can visit MNS. This event also enables MNS to continue ongoing research and collections management, to present engaging exhibitions, to host engaging traveling exhibitions, to present a variety of Planetarium and IMAX® offerings.
Each year, approximately 900 guests attend Dinner in the Wild. The event brings together civic, social, and business community leaders from throughout North Texas who are dedicated to helping MNS inspire minds through nature and science.
This year, we are focusing on a truly momentous occasion — breaking ground on our new site at Victory Park! Dinner in the Wild 2009: Construction Zone is the official kick-off to begin construction on our brand new, state-of-the-art facility in downtown Dallas!
The evening’s events will include an opening cocktail reception and silent auction to be followed by dinner and an accompanying live auction.
This year’s event menu is being exclusively designed for MNS by Kent Rathbun Catering.
