BIOGRAPHY ON TOM HUNT

Tom Hunt, at age 85, still works harder and puts in longer hours than people half his age. Until earlier this year he was the Chairman of the Board of Hunt Petroleum Corporation. He started his career in the petroleum industry in May, 1946. 

Through the years he has worked for various Hunt companies. When Hunt Petroleum Corporation was formed in 1955 he became the first President and served as President until 1990. He then became Chairman and served as Chairman until September, 2008 when Hunt Petroleum Corporation was sold to XTO Energy.

Hunt attended the University of Arkansas studying chemical engineering. He served in the US Army (Air Corps) from November, 1942 to October, 1945. He was a member of the 380th Bomb Group of Fifth Air Force. Hunt served on the boards, as well as board committees, of Arch Mineral Corporation, Penn Central Corporation, American Financial Group and other companies
