Museum Hours
Nature Building, Science Building and Planetarium*:
Monday-Saturday: 10am-5pm
Sunday: Noon-5pm
*During the school year the Planetarium is open to the public only on weekend and specifically-mentioned holidays. It is reserved for school groups during the week.
Summer Hours
Beginning Memorial Day (5/28/12)
Monday-Saturday: 10am-6pm
Sunday: Noon -6pm
- Regular hours of operation on MLK Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day

Military personnel and their families receive a $2 discount off MNS general admission, IMAX® and Planetarium shows. Tickets must be purchased at the box office with Military ID.

If you plan to seen an IMAX® film while visiting MNS, please remember:
- The TI Founders IMAX® Theater is located in the MNS Science Building.
- The average length of the IMAX® films are about 45 minutes.
- Pre-show queuing time before and IMAX® film is 15 minutes.

MNS gift cards are unique gifts perfect for science lovers of all ages. Cards can be purchased in any denomination at any of the box offices at MNS*. Gift cards can be used for exhibit tickets, film tickets, programs, and even memberships**. The sleek cards come with a matching holder, making a great presentation alone or when added to gift.
* Online purchase not available; gift cards must be activated for use by MNS box office.
** Not valid in MNS gift shop or café.
MNS gift cards can be used for the purchase of tickets, programs and memberships at the Museum of Nature & Science. Protect cards and treat them as you would cash. Lost, stolen or damaged cards will not be replaced. Cards cannot be redeemed for cash or refunded on remaining balance. Gift card void if not activated by cashier at the time of purchase. Products or services purchased with a gift card that are subsequently returned will be refunded in the form of Museum credit. Card also valid at the Perot Museum of Nature & Science in Victory Park upon opening. Applies to Museum products and services only. Not valid in the MNS gift shop or café.
