Investigate the natural world around you by fulfilling the requirements for the Boy Scout Environmental Science merit badge. Scouts will learn about alternative energy by testing solar, wind, and hydro-electric powered model cars. They’ll also take a look at the biodiversity of several ecosystems right here in Fair Park! Each paid attendee will be given an exhibit ticket voucher for a return visit to the Museum’s permanent exhibits.
Is your scout working towards his Eagle Scout? Environmental Science is required to earn the rank of Eagle Scout.
Time: 9am-4pm
Cost: $24.00 per scout, $5.00 per adult
(Each boy or group of boys must have at least one adult present.)
Reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking in order to hold your space in the workshop. Reservations are non-refundable. Workshops fill up fast, so make sure to reserve your spot early.
